- Pirates Day!

Blizzard’s newest holiday came and went, without much bang, unless you count Draechen’s lifeless body hitting the floor.

The time of drunken rabbit chasing, drunken ram riding, and farming the hell out of BRD are back. We’ve got a refresher on your achievements as well.

- Earth, Wind and Fire down!

2 guilds have taken down the entire vault of archavon bosses (Koralon, Emalon, and Archavon) within 60 seconds of each other, simply insane.

IndustryGamers has a review of the Austin Game Developers Conference, and blizzard airs the internal numbers…. 5.5 million lines of code? Wow….

Azeroth News Tonight

- The /2 Podcast lends us their host, Rustonoviche!

- 3.2.2: When is it coming!?

The latest patch notes can be found here. We break down the current state of whats happening to your classes!

- Trial of the Grand Crusader is now on farm!

It was more of a sprint than a race, but the Taiwanese guild Stars, and the US guild Premonition have both checked in and gotten Anub’arak down for the count. We also break down whether world firsts are actually important?

- Imagine a world without class changes

A question was asked on the warcraft forums about the possibility of “finishing the classes” and having no more changes. Eyonix said it isn’t going to (obviously), but it begs the question: Would a game that has “finished” classes that are balanced be fun? Is the class QQ where excitement comes into play?

- Splitting PvP and PvE

In another forum post, Ghostcrawler responds to a question about splitting the two game types by saying: “It just feels like two games with one art set at that point, which isn’t what we’re going for.” So give us your input, would you like to see abilites work differently in PvP instead of trying to balance both around each other?

Word Outside Warcraft

- The WoW TCG set to release its newest expansion: ScourgeWar

And the loot cards are the big draw for the MMO player, so here’s what we have: Your Super Common card is the Mini-mount that runs at your regular movement speed, its just Tiny! Your Uncommon card is the Tuskar Kite non-combat pet, and your ultrarare crown jewel is the spectral kitten non-combat pet. You can check them all out here. Also, when they arive on the PTR you can check them out by using these codes: # Tiny: 3333 # Tuskarr Kite: 2222 # Spectral Kitten: 1111

-Blizz, give us a reason to raid

The Where’s Me Drink Blog poses and interesting question: Where have the raid quests gone? Kara was chock full of questlines, and yet naxx, ulduar and ToC have nothing. Do we want them back?

-Macros Explained - In English!

Fitzcairn’s Macro Explain-o-maticis a great utility to troubleshoot your macros, or just figure out what exactly that 255 character mess of code does.

Tory Grey

- Jeg recieved a voicemail from the enigmatic Tory Grey

F, Marry, Kill

- Jeg pops Rustonoviche’s cherry with a new FMK.

Call to Arms!

- Koralon is the next target of the Call to Arms!

Azeroth News Tonight

- Faction Changes now Available

As Jeg can attest to, this amazing new service comes with a hefty price tag. Want to switch sides and servers? Sure that will be $55(30 for the faction change + 25 for the server transfer. Regardless, Jeg is now 80 and waiting on Draechen for a change

- Trial of the Grand Crusader is now open!

The race for world firsts is on! … And over apparently as Paragon from EU-Lightning Blade has claimed the last two world firsts (Anub’arak and Twin Valkyr) to finish of the latest raid content. Congrats!

- New Shaman Totems!

A recent blue post unveiled that there will be new totems for the orcs and trolls, along with the newly arriving dwarves!

- The PUGcast fashion crew

The newest arena season gear has been uncovered, so naturally Jeg and Draechen break down who has the best looking gear.

Word Outside Warcraft

- Blizzard deploys…. a virus scanner?!

Are they crossing a boundary? Apparently when logging in, if you are detected to have a virus, trojan, or keylogger you may find your account banned for 24 hours. WoW.com breaks the story here

- Blizzard to attend PAX Blizzard has announced that they will be bringing Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, and the cataclysm demos to PAX. This leaves us wondering. When are you coming to the east coast…. dammit!

Vent Recording #4 - The reroll

- Draechen has released the latest vent recording. It appears the crew has decided to reroll.

F, Marry, Kill

- Jeg and Draechen break down your results from the first F, Marry, Kill.

Call to Arms!

- In exhausting fashion, Our Call to Arms segment dissects Thorim, IN THE MOUNTAINS

- Blizzcon came and went and left us without news!

All that means is that Jeg and Draechen have to bring you more content on their own. Tread carefully…

- PTR Build for 3.2.2 Released

The data miners were hard at work and found the Pandaren Mini-pet. Yeah, we wish they were a playable race too.

- Are race changes closer than we thought?

Also in the PTR Build, a “bug” unveiled the race change feature, it didnt work but the question surfaces. How close is race changing?

Word Outside Warcraft

- Talentchic.com is now WoWPopular.com

This is mainly for Jeg, so he doesn’t have to be redirected anymore.

- Ozzy talks to Kotaku.com about his show at Blizzcon.

What did we learn? Ozzy is possibly a dork, as he broke down (at least what could be understood) his expectations of the Blizzcon faithful.

Tory Grey reports from Blizzcon - Jeg recieved a phone call from Tory Grey who offers his/her insights from Blizzcon.

F, Marry, Kill - A new game to play along with! Jeg peppers Draechen with a series of lovely choices.

Call to Arms!

-Our Call to Arms segment tackles Freya, who we found out Draechen would marry, given the choice

- Blizzcon is upon us!

Unless you’ve been in a coma for the past 2 days, you already have a good idea what is happening to the world… of warcraft. This week we were joined by TheWych and Tempeste from BindonEquip and we delve in the broad spectrum of changes. We also have exclusive audio of a worgen transformation!

- Icecrown Citadel

31 Bosses! Well, no, actually there are only 12. We delve into all the details released for Arthas since he’s still around, hating you.

Word Outside Warcraft

- The ultimate plan for Battle.net

Blizzcon has also revealed to us the plans for battle.net (Think STEAM, but better)

- Starcraft II Marketplace

Much like all the customize maps for Warcraft 3, the plan is to allow developers even more access to the game, by incorporating their own art, ingenuity, and time to create custom content for Starcraft II. It has a little bit of an iTunes Appstore feel to it, but we’ll trust that the community won’t all be price gougers.

Call to Arms!

Our Call to Arms segment this week is a joke! We ran a little long, so enjoy the VanCleef strategy…

The new Isle of Conquest, Epic gems, Trial of the Champion/Crusader, and the new dailes are all here! It’s real, and it’s spectacular

- PVP Realm restrictions — REMOVED

In an unforeseen change, Blizzard is allowing players on PVP servers to have both horde and alliance characters on the same account

- The last of the Q&A sessions (at last!)

Jeg takes on the priests here

and Draechen handles the rogues here

- The rant subject this week is anecdotal at best, but it involves both him and this common plant

Azeroth News Tonight

- Ogres and Vrykul masks added

Blizzard casts misdirection, and added new masks to keep the rumor mill churning.

- Ulduar raiding mounts to stay

Blizzard announced that they won’t be removing the 2 Ulduar achievement mounts via patch 3.2, so the month buffer is effectively gone.

- 3 more Q&A sessions! (Only 1 is new though)

Jeg and Draechen dissect the latest new community Q&A’s via Ghostcrawler for the Hunter class

- Is Blizzard unsure of what to do?

There seems to be a recurring theme to the Q&A sessions. “Yeah, we don’t know how to fix that right now”

The Word Outside Warcraft

- Yes! A Warcraft Movie! No…what are you thinking?

Sam Raimi has been brought on to deliver a Warcraft movie to the big screen, but Jeg and Draechen have some reservations.

- Blizzard authenticator is released to non-iPhone mobile devices

Check the mobile blizzard site and see if you’re luckier than Draechen, who has no iPhone, and a blackberry that won’t run the authenticator. Lame.

- Battle.net accounts

Unless you’re a big fan of authentication issues, go sign up and merge your warcraft and battle.net accounts.

- Blizzard is selling gold!?

Jeg breaks down the latest cash dump, exchange your actual money, for monopoly-esque horde and alliance coins.

Call to Arms!

Our Call to Arms segment this week focuses on the giant construct, Kologarn.

Jeg’s Drunken Rants

There was no actual rant this week, but more a condemnation of a very, very sick individual.

Jeg’s debt? -4000 gold. Yeah, the number didn’t move (should I start calculation interest?)

- Jeg and Draechen discussed Jeg’s switch to discipline, and somehow end up declaring a duel! (best 4 out of 7 like any good hockey fan would do)

Azeroth News Tonight

- Horde to get Goblins? Alliance to get Worgen?

A new bout of data mining has uncovered 2 new hallow’s eve masks (goblins and worgen) which creates speculation at new races.

Also, the future of wow was before our very eyes in 2007? Check out the predictions mentioned here.

- Yogg-Saron kills come pouring in!

The first EU kill goes to Paragon (world 2nd) and the first US kill goes to Premonition (world 3rd) QQ more Ensidia and Exodus.

- Tier 9 datamining complete

The team at MMO-champion have finished mining the tier 9 gear models. Really Blizzard? Do alliance rogues and druids need to look like retarded birds? But Jeg was right. Check them out.

- 2 more Q&A sessions!

Jeg and Draechen tackle the two new community Q&A’s via Ghostcrawler for the Warriors and Druids

Epic raids, with vendor trash

- Draechen recorded an AQ40 raid, this is the stuff PUGs are made of!

The Word Outside Warcraft

- All this power in the palm of your hands

Jeg delves into the Armory app for the iPhone and iPod touch owners of the world

- WoW: Cataclysm Alpha Invites

If you got an alpha invite in your email, and you signed up, your character is probably naked and broke in a major city right now.

Call to Arms!

Our Call to Arms segment this week by request (thanks Gilbo) features Ignis the furnace master.

Jeg’s Drunken Rants

Jeg injected his rant into the news this week, and the target is? Recount.

Jeg’s debt didn’t make the cut for the show this week, but there wasn’t really anything to say that couldn’t be summed in one word. FAIL.-4000 gold.

Last but not least… Bloopers are back, much to Draechen’s dismay (and the rest of the world’s enjoyment)
